Quality Control
As a manufacturer we are interested in the quality of the product that we produce. As a consumer we are interested in the quality of the product that we buy. Quality often means different things to different people but can generally be regarded as meaning that the product meets certain targets.
We will consider some ways of measuring the quality of a product and detecting quality changes - both features of a quality control process.
